Business Spotlight: A Brewed Awakening

Business Spotlight: A Brewed Awakening

For ten years, Keli Wilson has dreamed of owning a coffee shop. Last year, she decided to curate her own brew and created a few drinks for her friends to try.

“They really liked them,” said Wilson. “We started with just making drinks for friends. It snowballed from there to people wanting to buy our product, and from there to the word spreading and people booking us for events.”

Soon Wilson felt confident enough to purchase a trailer, lovingly named The Brew Bus, and leave her career in business development to dedicate her time to running A Brewed Awakening full time.

“We are a woman owned small local business and we firmly believe in supporting other local and small businesses,” said Wilson.

A Brewed Awakening is completely mobile, so locations and hours may vary, but they post on their social media platforms weekly where patrons can find The Brew Bus.

“Our philosophy is to keep it simple,” said Wilson. “To just do a few things, but do them well.”

Wilson is native to the Wallace area and has been married to Chad Wilson for seven years. She leads a busy but fulfilling life that revolves around their four children.

“A Brewed Awakening offers a quality product, coupled with top-notch customer service,” said Wilson. “We can afford the community the convenience of delivery or pick up options, along with the ability to have a mobile coffee unit serve them locally and at any functions where we may be needed.”

A Brewed Awakening also prides itself in giving back to the community every opportunity they get.
