Chinquapin Volunteer Fire and Rescue host open house for new fleet

On Saturday Jul 23rd, 2022, Chinquapin Volunteer Fire and Rescue hosted an open house where the fire house bays were open to view the new trucks.

Chinquapin Volunteer Fire and Rescue posted the following on Facebook:

Today’s open house was a great success! Thank you to all who attended!

A special thanks goes out to Pastor Mitch Smith with Sharon Baptist Church for blessing our fleet including our new trucks for our “push in” ceremony.

Further, we would like to thank ECU Health/Eastcare for visiting and showing off their aircraft to the community. Also, thanks goes out to the Duplin County Fire Marshal’s Office for letting Sparky the Fire Dog visit and teach us a few things about fire safety.
