Duplin County considers leasing agricultural land

From Duplin County Government:

Duplin County is considering leasing land at its West Park Industrial Center near Warsaw, NC, for farming purposes for the 2022 calendar year. The lease runs from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022. Renewals for 2023 and 2024 will be available if the successful tenant maintains the property in an acceptable manner. The West Park property available for lease is approximately 102 acres combined along West Park Drive, Warsaw, NC, county parcel number 01-E116.

Prospective lessors may submit sealed offers to Elizabeth Stalls, County Planner, by mail or in person at 209 Seminary Street, Kenansville, NC 28349. It is the County’s intent to accept offers no later than 4:00 p.m. on October 22, 2021. Offers should be submitted as a proposed amount per acre format. All offers should include the offeror’s name, phone number, and mailing address to be considered. Offers must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked “West Park Lease.”

Duplin County reserves the right to award the lease to a tenant that is most advantageous to the county. Duplin County reserves the right to reject any and all offers submitted.
