Duplin County Partnership for Career Planning hosts career fair

Duplin County Partnership for Career Planning hosts career fair

The objective of the Duplin County Partnership for Career Planning (DCPCP) is to provide a comprehensive career and technical education system through the cooperation and coordination of community resources including business and industry, James Sprunt Community College (JSCC), and Duplin County Schools (DCCS).

Activities supported by the DCPCP allow students the opportunity to experience a connection to the world of work. The primary activities supported by the partnership are the 10th grade Career and College Fair, the WORKS program (K-14), assisting with job shadowing placement opportunities for high school Juniors, and serving in an advisory capacity for program improvement. Business and industry involvement is critical to the opportunities provided for students.

Appreciation is expressed to our business partners and college representatives for participation in today’s 10th Grade Career and College Fair. Thank you for being a part of this career guidance opportunity and for sharing with our students information on your profession and college affiliation as together we prepare students for the future work force.
