Duplin County Schools celebrates the arts
The Duplin County Schools All-County Band Cultural Arts Festival was held on March 4, 2022, at the Wallace-Rose Hill High School Fine Arts Building. Middle school and high school band students had the opportunity to work with guest conducters Jonathan Jones from Mt. Airy High School and Dr. Wendy Matthews from Kent State University. The Student Art Exhibit featured pieces from each of our high schools.
A special thank you to Nicole Murray, Interim Chief Officer for STEAMA Curriculum and Instruction, our school administrators, and our arts teachers for making this festival a great celebration of student talent!
