Kenansville Police Department reports a hit and run

Yesterday, a male subject stuck another vehicle which was parked at Liberty Square. Both vehicles were damaged and the suspects vehicle left the scene. No one was injured.

The suspect vehicle was soon located and the driver was arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident, as well as Reckless Driving. In addition the NCSHP was also contacted and they conducted a DWI Investigation.

The suspects name has not been released on this as the case has not been adjudicated. The parties named are on public record.
