Kyle Hatcher Insurance announces purchase of J. Kim Hatcher Insurance

On Facebook, Kyle Hatcher Insurance announced the purchase of J. Kim Hatcher Insurance effective January 1st, 2022. Kyle Hatcher, owner, is the son of Kim Hatcher. It is a family business, with locations in both Kenansville and Beulaville, NC.

“This agency is a full service Independent Property and Casualty Agency”, said Hatcher. “We write and service most all forms of Personal and Commercial insurance, as well as life insurance and annuities with access to many great companies.”

Even though there is an ownership change, there will not be a business name change. When asked how the process works, Hatcher said, “I did a stock purchase agreement, which means you pretty much buy everything.”

Hatcher has worked for and with his dad for 17 years. They will continue in the business together, but Hatcher said, “Dad was ready to step down from some of the day to day work related to the agency.”

The hours of operation are: Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, and Fridays, 9am-12pm.

Even with set hours, insurance agents typically work around the clock. Hatcher says, “When I was growing up, Dad would take me to school, but would never be home before midnight… he was working.”

Like his father, Hatcher has had his own adventures in the insurance field. “I have countless stories about visiting customers, hundreds of sayings and best practices that we will continue.”
