Larry George of Wallace tees up in the 2022 Senior PGA Championship

Submitted to Duplin Review by Glenn Mastro

Local PGA Golf Professional, Larry George, a Wallace resident and PGA Director of Golf at River Landing in Wallace, is living a dream today as he tees it up in the 2022 Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid, May 26-29 at Harbor Shores Golf Club in Benton Harbor, MI.

Playing in his 2nd Senior PGA Championship, Larry is competing alongside Major Champions like Steve Stricker, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, Bernhard Langer, Vijay Singh, and Tom Lehman, among many other professional stars.

While competing on TOUR is the primary job of professional golfers, Larry is a PGA Club Professional and his day-to-day responsibilities differ vastly from a professional golfer.

As one of only 35 PGA Club Professionals from across the U.S. to earn a spot in the Senior PGA Championship, Larry George is representing Duplin County well.
