NC Poultry Jubilee: The tradition continues

From NC Poultry Jubilee Facebook

As many of you know the Rose Hill Town Square will soon be home to the town’s newly constructed Fire Department. Change and growth is great for any municipality, but change often sparks fear. Many have feared that the town would lose some of its hometown traditions, like the NC Poultry Jubilee.

The Poultry Jubilee Committee, along with the RH Fire Department, and several other stakeholders are committed to keeping the traditions that our town holds dear to their hearts.

With great pleasure and excitement we are announcing that this year’s Jubilee will be held on Saturday October 22, 2022!!!

The firemen will once again heat up the World’s Largest Frying pan and cook the chicken that our community is so famous for. This year’s festivities will include the notable cake auction, wing eating contest, wing cook off, vendors and much more.

Over the next few weeks the committee will announce this year’s artist, entertainment, and other attractions.

We are excited for the number of folks from the Wallace, Warsaw, Magnolia, and Rose Hill areas who have reached out to the NCPJ committee over the past few weeks offering to help with this year’s Jubilee.

With change, great things are possible, so we have a feeling this just maybe the best Jubilee yet!!!

We cannot wait to see you at the Square in October --- The 2022 NCPJ Committee.
