The local Rotaract Club of Kinston, along with Additive America, were able to deliver 3D printed face shields for medical workers in India in June of this year to help with the medical needs for personal protective equipment for their health care workers. Dr. Nischal Pandey was responsible for getting the face shields delivered to the needed areas hit hardest by COVID during the pandemic.

Paul Sugg, EastPoint President and CFO of Additive America states, “I am not sure we have ever had a Rotary International President come to our community in Kinston. We were happy to help place face shields on medical workers in India and to watch this come full-circle, with a visit from President Mehta of India, getting to see the location that helped his country in a time of need, is truly a great honor.”

Bryan Craft, President of the Rotaract Club of Lenoir County states, “When we were approached about the need, our Rotaract Club was excited to help. I work in the 3D printing industry and helping others is what we do in business and in our Rotary and Rotaract Clubs. The handwritten note of thanks from the healthcare workers in India truly touched my heart and I am thankful for an organization that believes in service to others.”
