Governor Roy Cooper directed $34 million in new federal funding to further support postsecondary students in completing their degree or credential and to help address K-12 student learning and mental health needs as students continue to recover from the pandemic.
James Sprunt Community College was recently featured on Best Value Schools list of Best Associate of Arts Degrees in 2021. Ranking number twelve on the nationwide list is an accomplishment the JSCC community is very proud of receiving. JSCC was ranked 3rd in the state of North Carolina. This recognition comes as no surprise considering JSCC was one of only two community colleges in the state of North Carolina to experience enrollment growth last year.
