The town of Wallace participates in Fire Safety Week

Wallace Fire Department, Duplin County Fire & Emergency Management, and North Carolina Forestry Service were at Wallace Elementary School this past week for Fire Safety Week.

The kids enjoyed spending time with Sparky the firedog and Smokey and the bear. They even had the chance to climb in and out of the fire truck.

Wallace Fire Department also visited Lynda’s Play and Learn, and Sunshine Day School.

Fire Safety Week continues until October 15th.
