Wallace Police Department begins annual active threat training

From Wallace Police Department Facebook

Great training yesterday. We began our annual Active Threat training and spent the day at WRH and Wallace Elementary. This training is designed to be as real-life as possible and forces the officers into making decisions while under extreme amounts of stress.

We had fantastic instructors from Knightdale and Youngsville PDs. Big thanks to our citizens that volunteered to be role players and to the staff at both schools for allowing us access.

We will conduct the training again next Tuesday. If you are interested in serving as a role player, send us a message here.
