Warsaw Police Department arrest man for attempted murder and assault

Avaire Ihmadd Armwood was taken into custody on Tuesday, November 30th and charged with the crimes of attempted murder, discharging a barreled weapon into a moving motor vehicle inflicting serious injury, and assault with a deadly weapon, with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.

These charges were brought related to an April 7th, 2020 incident that occurred on NC Hwy 24 W. Two individuals were injured because of this incident. He had two accomplices in this crime, anyone with information related to the other suspects may send information to policeinfo@townofwarsawnc.com.
