Warsaw Police Department reports shooting fatalities
On the evening of Monday November 22, 2021 around 7:45 p.m., patrol officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Yancey St. and Matthews St.
Once on scene, officers discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other subjects were transported to area hospitals with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Warsaw Police Department are investigating the incident with the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. Further information will be released as the investigation continues.
