Aug 22 Ollie's coming to Wallace in 2023

According to Facebook, Ollie’s is coming to Wallace in 2023.

Ollie’s website states, “Ollie’s Bargain Outlet offers brand name merchandise at up to 70% off the fancy store prices.”

Hatcher Builders of Wallace is contracting the repairs to the outside of the building.

Haywood Hatcher Jr, Owner and Operator of Hatcher Builders said, “Ollie’s will hire another contractor to do the inside, but we will be supervising over that as well.”

The town of Wallace seems hopeful about the new business.

Resident, Barrett Lovette said, “I’ve lived in or around Wallace my whole life and I’m glad to see that old shopping center get some life back. I’m hopeful Ollie’s can pull in more businesses and rejuvenate Wallace Crossing. I’m also a huge fan of Ollie’s so I’m looking forward to shopping there.”

Ollie’s will be located in the old Walmart shopping center, behind the KFC and near the Go Gas.

Mayor, Jason Wells said, “Buyers of Ollie’s state they plan to be open by March as an anchor merchant that will attract other retail space. They have already been actively meeting with potential tenants just this past week. Repairs to the parking lot should be underway in the coming days.”
