Rose-Hill Magnolia Elementary School leaves their mark on Beta Nationals

Rose-Hill Magnolia’s Elementary and Middle School both had participants place to be eligible to compete in Beta Club Nationals at Nashville, TN.

All top 5 placements at the State level qualified participants to compete at Nationals.

Carol Murphy, ESL Teacher, Beth Rivenbark, Middle School PE, and Teresa Andrews, Teacher Assistant and Bus Driver at Rose-Hill Magnolia, are all Beta Sponsors who attended Nationals with the students.

Participants and placements were:

Middle school Technology Team - Kaylann Leon, Josue Ramos, Josue Vega, and Eduardo Gonzales. This team won 5th place at the State Convention.

Elementary Engineering Team - Elijah Warren, JJ Rouse, and Paxton Dixon. They won 4th place at State.

Presley Brown entered the Elementary Black and White Photography competition and won 3rd place. She also won 1st place in Elementary Drawing, 1st place in Elementary Color Photography, and placed 2nd in Black and White Photography at the State level.

JJ Rouse entered Elementary Sculpture competition, where he won 2nd place at the State level and palced 9th at Nationals with his penny covered Saturn V rocket. His Mixed Media entry won 5th at the State level.

Murphy said, “We are so proud of all of the students who participated at Nationals! We appreciate everyone who supported our fundraisers and enabled these awesome students to enjoy this experience!”
