Wallace Parks and Recreation Department hosts a turkey coloring contest

Wallace Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a turkey coloring contest sponsored by Duplin Realty. The contest starts November 1st and runs through November 12th.

Contestants can pick up a copy of the turkey coloring sheet at the Wallace Parks and Recreation office at 513 SE Railroad St, Town Hall at 316 E Murray St, or the Wallace Library 409 W Main St, Wallace, NC 28466.

There is a drop off for completed entries located at Town Hall, or you can drop them off at the Wallace Parks and Recreation Department office. Please include the name and age on the back of the paper.

We will begin posting the completed entries on our Facebook page on Monday November 15th. This way all our friends will have the opportunity to “like” the turkeys they think are best.

The turkeys with the most likes in each age group will win a $10 GameStop gift card. The Wallace Parks and Recreation Department is asking “participants to please like and share the content so the contest can reach out to as many kids as possible. Thank you and Good Luck.”
