On Monday, September 26, 2022 at approximately 3:08 pm, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Bennett’s Bridge Road near Reyes Verdin Lane, Mt. Olive, NC in reference to a victim with a gunshot wound.
On Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at approximately 7:00am, the Duplin County Sheriffs Office received a report of an elderly female who may have been missing from her home in the Warsaw area of Duplin County. Olean Hall was last seen at her residence on NC 24 and NC 50 HWY on Tuesday, September 13th at 7:00pm.

In the early morning hours of Saturday August 6, 2022, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Warsaw Police Department responded to Boy Scout Lane in the Warsaw area of Duplin County in reference to a shooting death of 23 year old, Raekwon Wilson, of Warsaw, NC.
On June 23, 2022 around 7:00 a.m., the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Glacus Murray Lane near Warsaw in reference to an unresponsive male subject with a possible gunshot wound. Upon the arrival of deputies and Duplin County EMS, the male subject was pronounced dead at the scene.

On February 21, 2022 at approximately 4:45 am, deputies with the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office responded to Lanier and Smith’s Ace Hardware in Chinquapin in reference to a Breaking and Entering that had just occurred.
On February 19, 2022, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Bug Town Lane in Wallace, NC. During the traffic stop the driver, Brandon Huffin, fled from Detectives and Special Agents with the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement on foot.
According to court documents, evidence presented in court and other documents, on April 7, 2021, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office conducted a controlled purchase of two ounces of methamphetamine from Gonzales at his residence on Albert Grady Road in Mount Olive.
